Our story begins in Chihuahua, Mexico, with a family recipe passed down through generations.
My father, Ramón Dominguez, comes from a family of butchers. Growing up, I spent time alongside him, learning about meat preparation, ingredients, and the importance of doing things the right way.
What started as a hobby, making chorizo for family and friends, gradually became something bigger. People loved the flavor, began requesting larger quantities, and recommended our chorizo to local restaurants.
Together with my wife Sara Dominguez and our two daughters, we decided to turn our family's tradition into a business.
Today, KC Chorizo Co. is a licensed Kansas business supplying restaurants, grocery stores, and families throughout the Greater Kansas City area.
For us, this is about more than making chorizo. It represents family, tradition, memories shared with my father, and a connection to our roots in Chihuahua.
We are proud to bring a taste of Northern Mexico to Kansas City while maintaining the quality and authentic flavor that started it all.
